In response to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, acet UK has adapted our work to run in a digital format. During this coronavirus outbreak, we will not be running any training or speaking events in physical buildings but we are excited that we will still be able to provide the same quality of support by video conferencing software.
During this unprecedented situation, we welcome the opportunity to support schools, churches, youth groups and other organisations by providing bespoke training events or speaking at an organised digital event. If you want us to run an event we can provide all the online services required to host interactive secure digital learning environments or we are happy to discuss using your own prefered services. You will retain full control over who you invite to the training.
Topics we have been asked to speak on in the past include:
- The impact of pornography and how those working with young people can respond
- The teenage brain
- An introduction to relationships and sex education
- The importance of promoting healthy relationships
- The theological foundation for relationships and sex education
- HIV around the world
If you are interested in booking us for a speaking event, please contact us.
If you want to use our prefered digital conference service the technical requirements for learners to attend include needing a computer, a webcam, with access to Zoom or a phone or tablet with the same capability. You can learn more about the free video conferencing software zoom and can sign up to, for free, at https://zoom.us/. If you are a first time user of Zoom, we encourage you to have a practice with the service before the course. If you would like to check the service before booking a course please email Gareth@acet-uk.com and we can arrange a time to test the service with you.
