Another academic year is underway and we are off to an amazing start!

A number of schools have already booked their entire year of relationships and sex education (RSE) sessions with us. This is SO encouraging as it shows their commitment to a comprehensive RSE curriculum for their young people. Hopefully, the days of squeezing some token RSE into the end of the summer term are long gone!

We’ve also had increased interest in teacher training in RSE, and have already run three accredited RSE courses, with two more in December and January taking bookings. The Esteem network of trained RSE educators continues to grow!

Sadly, Esther left our Esteem team in the summer for new adventures, but we are pleased to introduce our new Schools Workers, Michelle, and Rachel (see here for more from the two of them).

We have also received several pieces of good news about funding for both our Esteem and International Support programmes. For the first time, we have been offered the full champion matched funding for the Big Give Christmas Challenge when we will be fundraising for ACET Nigeria and Shining Star in Zimbabwe (see here for more details). And we have also already had notification of some grants from trusts and foundations from applications we made last year. We are extremely thankful!
